Wavo Springs are round-wire wave springs engineered for applications requiring high loads and low deflection. Delivering predictable performance in a compact form, they offer a space-saving alternative to Belleville disc springs with up to a 75% smaller radial footprint, while helping accommodate tolerance variation, thermal expansion, and vibration.

Overview
Wavo Springs are single-turn wave springs produced from round-section wire to provide higher loads while maintaining the accurate loading characteristics found in wave springs. As an alternative to Belleville springs, Wavo Springs deliver similar loads with an accurate, predictable spring rate throughout the working range. Their compact design fits in as little as 25% of the radial space required by a Belleville spring, making them an ideal solution for applications where space is limited.
Engineers use Wavo Springs in assemblies to accommodate variation resulting from tolerance stack-up, compensate for changes caused by thermal expansion, and preload components to reduce vibration. The theoretical load/deflection curve remains linear until the spring approaches its solid height
